Crucci presents a sweet dress and frilly sweater knitting pattern for babies aged newborn to 12 months in a versatile 8ply DK wool yarn.

Construction for the sweater is in five parts. The back and front are knit from bottom to top. The sleeves are knit from cuff to shoulder. The neckband is knit last by picking up and knitting stitches held on stitch holders.

The dress is also knit from bottom to top in two parts with the neckband knit last. Recommended to seam using a simple mattress stitch. 

Suitable for knitters who are familiar with garter stitch, stocking stitch, simple increases and decreases for shaping and ribbing for bands.

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows over 10cm square swatch using a 4mm knitting needle, or size as required to get the correct gauge.
